Brian was born in Queens, New York. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at St. John’s University in 1979 and his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 1982. He was admitted to New York State Bar in 1983 and to the United States District Court, Eastern District in 1985.

He has been an invited lecturer for trial advocacy and medical-legal programs for the Nassau County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and other organizations. He is currently a Member on the Board of Directors for Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers and a Member on the Board of Directors of the Continuing Care Division of Catholic Health Services. He is the past Chairman of the Medical Legal Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association and the past President of Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association.

His memberships include the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the New York State Medical Defense Bar Association, the Judiciary Committee of Nassau County Bar Association (past), and associate member of the American Trial Lawyers Association.

As an attorney, he has been selected for last five years as one of the New York Areas “Best Lawyers” published in New York Magazine, and as a member of “Best Lawyers” published by the American Lawyer Magazine.
