Heather Aquino is an experienced litigator that focuses on automobile and premise liability matters. She also defends non-profit corporations, educational entities, and financial institutions in personal injury matters.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from William Paterson University in 2004, where she was a member of the Dean’s List, a Trustee Scholarship recipient, and an NCAA Academic All-American. She earned her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2008, where she was a Vincentian Scholarship recipient.  She received the CALI Award for Excellence in Federal Courts and was a participant in the criminal defense clinic at St. John’s. She also interned with the United States Navy Jag Corps and was a member of the Latin American Law Students Association.

Prior to joining Kerley, Walsh, Matera & Cinquemani, P.C., Heather was a partner at a mid-sized regional law firm.  She is a member of the Union County Bar Association, and she frequently lectures on diversity and inclusion topics in the legal profession.
